what you need to realize is the guanteed prize pool money often becomes irrelivant, since there are always enough players to not only cover it but increase it.
but I agree 1000 buy in and 500k guarenteed is only 500 people to break even, i wonder would this site get it? gotta love the blind structure though

The blind structure is very nice, as is the Rake Free... It's tempting, but I think I've bought into enough $1000 tourneys for a little while...
