Default Bowl Card (12/30)

Yesterday Terps rolled as expected, although the point total was less than I expected. Still up 1 Unit on the game though.

For tomorrow (today, whatever) I have one play

2 Units Boston College - 7 over Navy

Navy is 9-3, but they have played a terribly easy schedule. When they did play a team halfway decent, they were decimated (34-0 by Rutgers and 38-14 by Notre Dame... both were Home games for Navy).

Out of their 9 wins only 2 have come against teams with Winning Records, one against a team that finished 7-6, the other a 1 point victory

I expect BC to roll here

I also like V Tech -2.5 against Georgia -- but bc this bowl game is being played in Georgia Im hesitant. I may put a small play on this game tomorrow, but for now Im leaving it alone

I like BC as well (although I am always hesitant to bet on them, because I fear it is a wager from the heart, not mind)

BC is a great bowl team and may have more motivation after O'Brien jumped ship for conference rival NCState (wtf was that btw??)

Navy also lost its starting QB during season, and starting fullback in last game.

I'll float a fin on this

heres my card for today...

BC/Navy UNDER 47

Texas (-8.5) vs Iowa

Also Zybomb if your afraid of Georgia having a home game I just wanted to tell you that VT has some of the best 'traveling' fans around, I bet anything that stadium will be close to 50/50 split on fans.

somehow the under is still alive at 46 with 7 minutes to play... wish BC didnt score that TD.

I dont think I'll win this but worth hoping I guess. I feel better about my bet considering how the 2nd half played out (9pts) that was how I expected the first half to play out as well.

wow Navy is fucking sad...

1:25 left and 3rd down and they DECIDE TO PITCH the ball instead of just running it normally and FUMBLE and give BC the game and the over. whoever pitched that ball should be fucking shot.

BC had no time outs either, so Navy runs... the clock will be down to 55 seconds or so, they punt BC deep into their zone and BC has to come down the field and set up a FG in 50-55 seconds.

so pathetic... pitching that ball has to be one of the worst plays ever, it was 3rd and 15, the pitch wasnt going to get you a 1st down so why pitch it?

Yuck -- this game was disgusting. It was a game that BC simply should have won and dominated. A complete aboration for a mediocre Navy team.

I took a double unit loss on this game and lost a half unit on V Tech... Id like to win it back Sunday but Ive looked at all the games and cant find 1 NFL game I like -- the miami nevada CFB game doesnt look good to me either

Navy had 8 passes the whole game and went deep twice, hooking up for 2 TDs...

With them running so much, its almost impossible to stop the deep pass if they do throw it. They didnt attempt a single pass in the 2nd half, they just ran the option.
