I'm pretty sure I've mentioned some of these things before, but I think they have been missed, so here goes again.

Take this HH, for example:

-It's a cash game, so there should be no buy in listed.
-It says 6 players, but there were only 4, because 2 were sitting out.
-I'd prefer it say this:
CO is sitting out
instead of this:
CO: $ sitting out
Alternatively, those positions could be removed from the HH completely, but that would require renaming the other positions based on the new number of plauers (in this case, 4). That would be better, but I'm assuming it would be a lot more complicated.

-The pot size isn't shown in the preflop line:
Pre-flop: 3 T ($)

I hope you don't mind me posting these, de-coder. The Converter is very good as is, but it's obviously still got some bugs. If you get a chance to look at these and the other issues that have been listed, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

Another one for your list....

I noticed tonight that when someone shoves all in and has the other person covered, the pot is incorrectly displayed in the converted HH (because the shover gets his uncalled money back). Example here:

This was the original HH for testing purposes:

FullTiltPoker Game #2184061984: Table Simmons (6 max) - $2/$4 - No Limit Hold'em - 0:49:41 ET - 2007/04/11

Seat 2: cardiffgiant1 ($792.30)
Seat 3: aguato23 ($211.30)
Seat 4: Kush789 ($400), is sitting out
Seat 5: Unkle_Rukus ($400), is sitting out
Seat 6: Troll Pie ($518.90)
cardiffgiant1 posts the small blind of $2
aguato23 posts the big blind of $4
The button is in seat #6
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Troll Pie [5s 5d]
Troll Pie raises to $14
cardiffgiant1 raises to $52
aguato23 folds
Troll Pie calls $38
*** FLOP *** [3h 4h 5c]
cardiffgiant1 bets $64
Troll Pie raises to $224
cardiffgiant1 raises to $740.30, and is all in
Troll Pie calls $242.90, and is all in
cardiffgiant1 shows [Qh Kh]
Troll Pie shows [5s 5d]
Uncalled bet of $273.40 returned to cardiffgiant1
*** TURN *** [3h 4h 5c] [7h]
*** RIVER *** [3h 4h 5c 7h] [Td]
cardiffgiant1 shows a flush, King high
Troll Pie shows three of a kind, Fives
cardiffgiant1 wins the pot ($1,040.80) with a flush, King high
Troll Pie adds $400

This is not a "bug," but merely a request:

For all the blank lines in the converted HH, can you add one single space on each of them? For whatever reason, when I cut and paste the HHs, I need to manually insert spaces on those lines, or else they disappear.

I have no idea why this happens, but adding spaces to those lines would fix my issue and shouldn't be noticeable to anyone else.

Thanks.

Just sticky the fucker already! It's annoying to have to come to this thread or find a post by you to get a link to the converter. We're using it, so sticky it.

Wait... you come to this thread to find a post by me to find a link to the converter?

Dude - just change the word forum to hh in the address bar... I mean, it's not like it's hard to remember.

Here I thought you wanted this stickied so EVERYONE would use it, and not just 90% of us. Little did I know it's because you can't remember the letter h. Twice. LOL.

I've been tracking these issues and I may have some time this weekend to see what I can do about them. I've just been really busy lately so I haven't been doing anything about it...

First off, embarrassed to say, I didn't know about adding hh in the url, either. I used to click on member's list, find your name and click on your signature.

Secondly, a 'Sticky' imho, isn't good enough.

See, this is my problem & the steps I go through when creating a HD thread:

- I log in to TPF, click on Hand Discussion Topic, New Thread... & start typing my thoughts on the hand which I am bummed out or happy about. (which is rarely the case these days)

- After typing out my thoughts for that hand, I click to get my saved HH and realize I forgot to convert it beforehand. What now? (View 1st paragraph for my way). If I do it your way, I still have to open a new browser window and either type out the new (hh) url or find the 'so-called, soon-to-be-added sticky'.

My suggestion would be to add it to *Additional Options*(if possible), same as an attachment. It would be accessible to any thread and would simplify the steps needed in creating a 'TPF converted' hand history thread/post.

Yes, that would be nice. I'm just not sure how to do it or if it's even possible. I guess I can look into it.

I'm kind of amazed though at how difficult you make this sound though:
-Open a new browser window
-Click on your TP link (or type it or whatever)
-Add "hh" after the / in

I mean.....

If that ENTIRE process takes you more than 5 seconds, something is wrong. In fact, I'm going to test myself right now and see how long it takes me to get there from here. Ready..... Seat.... Go!!!!

OK, I was before I got to "4 one thousand."
