I can't treat it like a hobby, because if I did I don't think I would win very much at all.
I would try and treat it more like an investment.

This is a great thread. The only reason I haven't posted in it yet is because I haven't set my specific goals yet. But.....
1. To continue to learn and improve my poker game. 2. To play in at least one event in the 2005 WSOP. 3. To have a profitable year. It's hard to pick an exact number, so I'll just say: More profitable than 2004, which wasn't half bad! 4. To make this forum a huge success

I'm glad this post was resurrected.... After all, there's no point in making goals if you don't eveluate your performance afterwards.
My results: 1. Always. 2. Cha-ching ![]() 3. Done and done. 4. It's certainly getting there. Well done, TP. |

My goals for 2006
1) build my affiliate money from $25 a week to $50 2) win more my self from $1700 in 2005 to $2400 in 2006 both should be easy.
