Why would you have "serious doubts?" Not only have many people expressed interest, but TP was considering adding money for promotion. I think it's a great idea.

Since it's on the weekend, I can't guarantee that I can play, but $10 is fine with me. My ideal time would probably be like ... a Tuesday night.

I would be interested. However I, too, would need to transfer from Party to Stars in order to play.

As for the idea of a MTT, I vaguely remember TP mention something about a "TalkingPoker.com open" in a past post. Sounds like a good idea to me.
