I'll move this to the Hand Analysis section for you. I would have just called when he led at the turn, and then check/called the river. I see no reason to go broke with AA here - not on that board. Oh, geez - I didn't even notice... Check raise the flop too, if you are going to check it. I kind of assumed you had when I saw the turn action. OK, I see what you were doing now. Yeah, I wouldn't have played it like that at all, really, but the % of the time that I check/call a flop after I raised preflop and it comes Kxx rainbow is exactly 0%, so the whole hand would have played out differently for me. Me: Raise preflop. Bet flop (get it all in here if he raises). Bet turn (only call here if he raises). Check/call river, assuming he raised turn. |

yeah i know i messed up the flop bet but i was trying to feign some weakness, as there isnt much chance he has me on AA with just my raise and a call preflop.

After 3 betting preflop, what other hands would you NOT CB with on this flop: *** FLOP *** [7h Ks 9c] Do you check TT there? How about AQ? KQ? Seems like an obvious slowplay to me. |
