I'm being exactly as hard on you as you deserve.

If you making a habit of palying with your entire bankroll on the line, YOU WILL GO BROKE. OK, I guess it's not a 100% certainty, but it's probably > 98% and the longer you do it, the higher that number goes. Get it all in enough (even as a healthy favorite every single time), and you WILL lose eventually. That's how math works.

And I'm sure if you had won this pot, you'd just kep on playing until you busted, either at 5/10 or 10/20 or whenever the math finally caught up to you.

So to answer your question, "Why Full Tilt, why?"

"Because you deserved it."

Sorry to come off as a jerk, but I just can't respect anyone who throws money away like that - while AT THE SAME TIME begging for money from strangers. That's messed up.

you're an idiot. if i were wisconsin kid who is somewhat of a 5/10 reg i woulda shoved AQ too cuz he's ahead of ur range... then even if u double up, win it back somehow cuz ur not a 5/10 player and he's better than u. trust me i do it personally everyday, and the fish never understand their "bad luck", when really we just have the BR to play them till they are broke and they have <1 buy in.

Ok, seems fair. Just the way I played the hand, he has to know AQ is beat. But that's not the point, If someone has a 50k bankroll, they can spend 300 bucks on AQ.

You've probably done this before JD, when you were like us..trying to build a roll...??

No, the point is you are focusing on ONE HAND. I mean, did you really think you'd never lose an all in pot, whether you got your money in ahead or not (he certainly could have had JJ beat)?

When you sit with your whole roll (or even a significant portion of it), you are destined to lose it. And you deserve it for being so stupid.

I am focusing on this one hand because it was for my whole roll.

The truth is I'm not a cash game playerand the mentality is different. For a tourney player, I played it well, defined my hand as an overpair and just got UL.

All I gotta say. Im broke, I suck. GG

and people say that the Port Bill UFIA drove all the fish offline.

Seriously guy, I am nice online, ask around. Granted I am a total asshole in real life, but nice online. This is the second completely idiotic thing you have done around here in a week. Don't ask why, don't get mad, just get better.

I'm not the expert, but I'm fine with the way the hand was played. The quote above is the problem. Taking a shot should not be with 100% of the bankroll.

BUT, and this would be a good question for the others, what would be a good "relatively reasonable" br % to take a shot with.

example: I am playing 25max and have my br up around $620. I don't think I would take a shot at 50 max until I had at least $750. If I dropped below $650, I'd go back down and not try again until I got around $900-$1000.

For my general BR management I try to follow a lot of the guidelines that Chris Ferguson used in his $1-$10 000 BR experiment. I also set up rules about multitabling and when to quit that I was only able to expand once I had a sufficient BR. (setting rules ahead of time keeps me from arguing from the tilting or overcautious voices in my head about when to quit)
