Sorry I am late with these.
Consensus got 11 right! Unfortunately, the dude down the hall got 12.  this week... STL @ BAL MIN @ CHI MIA @ CLE WAS @GB HOU @ JAC CIN @ KC PHI @ NYJ TEN @ TB CAR @ ARI NE @ DAL OAK @ SD NO @ SEA NYG @ ATL If anyone thinks they have the "locks of the week", I'll back you for one shot, just like I did with TP's picks last week. (sorry that didn't work out)

I don't even look at the vegas lines ever if thats what your suggesting. I thought GB was an underdog this week but you said we all picked the favorites so guess not.

Oh, I don't know either. I just kind of assumed. When I was making my picks, I thought it was pretty obviouys who the favorites would be.
How in the world could GB at home be a dog against a beat up Washington??? I'd guess they are about a 7 point favorite. All I was saying is that the more people you have picking, the more often the favorites are going to be picked (by the group), which SHOULD end up matching the Vegas lines exactly. It's just a probability thing. |

I just checked - Intertops has the Packers -3. That surprises me a little bit. I still like the Pack against that spread, but what do I know about sports betting?
 Other spreads I like after a quick glance: Houston + 6.5 Cleveland -4.5 Saints +6.5 I wouldn't touch the Cowboys +5.5 vs. Pats game. Man, a gew weeks ago, who would have thought STL would be getting 9.5 vs Baltimore??? I wouldn't touch that game either. |

Since this week has a lot of locks, no one took me up on prediciting to beat the consensus. So, my second set submitted will take the unanimous picks, but I will go with the dissenting picks where there were any
We'll see how that goes.  The above post was edited for grammar and spelling by a 10th grade English teacher (not me)

My votes for upset of the week (don't count these for your picks, it's just fun to look at some underdogs):
Miami over Cleveland - I think Miami is going to have success against the browns pass defense and with the Zac attack back should be able to stuff Clevelands running game too. Carolina over Arizona - Testaverde's going to play on Sunday (I just have a feeling about that) and have a miracle comeback game. If their defense can keep it close Vinny should bring it home in 4th quarter (caveat: if he hasn't succumbed to arthritis by then). |

Big Game
Okay,
I put in a second set of picks that went with the decenting pic where it was not unanimous. That sheet is tied for first in this weeks pool going into tonight. As I understand it, REGARDLESS of who wins, I take down the pool if the combined score is 30 or less. I tie if the combined score is 31. I guess I am watching tonight!

Oh yeah, The only reason numbers come into a win/loss pool, is because we have to pick the combined Monday night score for a tie breaker.
