cause that's the play... The receiver runs a hook pattern and then laterals it to someone running behind him the opposite direction of the hook. That being said, Boise St vs Oklahoma is probably the greatest final 5min+overtime of any sport in the history of ever. THE DUDE PROPOSED AFTER THE GAME!

I know what the play is... we're talking about whether it's called the hook & ladder or the hook & lateral. I always thought it was hook & ladder but all the videos say hook & lateral.
