![]() To tell you the truth. I don't really like today's pass coverage rules, but I did see some good non-calls in the game. Sometimes I get nostalgic for the late 70's early 80's and Lester Hayes' uniform and hands coated with stickum. I still laugh when I think of seeing him intercepting a pass and it taking 4 guys and about 2 minutes on the sideline to get the ball out of his hands. But, the NFL wants offense, so the receivers get all the breaks.

I would love to see nothing more than the pats lose in the playoffs after going undefeated in the regular season... that would be the biggest choke job ever.

My prediction - the 'Skins win the NFC title and become the only team in NFL history to lose to 2 teams in the Superbowl to allow them to complete an undefeated season.
Yay Skins! ![]() |

I've been thinking the same thing. That would be awesome.
Remember in '04 when the Sox were down 3 games to 0 against the Yankees (who I hate almost as much as the Cowboys)? I was a HUGE Sox fan that series, and their comeback against the Yanks was AWESOME. Then they got up 3 games to 0 in the WS, and I have to admit.... I really, really wanted to see them choke and lose 4 straight. THAT would have been the best choke job EVER and the curse would have lived on. |

![]() Best. Post. Ever. I never thought I'd live to see the day where Boston Sports became more hated by the rest of the country than NY. I love it. Oh, yes, and the Celtics' 27-3 start is the best 30 game start in the shot clock era.

What's a Celtic? Is that like hockey or something? Cricket, maybe?
![]() (Sorry shabi - only kidding) Oh, and for the record, I like Boston teams. For me, Philly teams are #1, Boston is probably #2 or #3 (probably behind Chicago, but certainly in the top 5), New York is VERY low on the list, and Dallas is DEAD LAST. But still, how could you not root for the curse? The curse was awesome! |

Its funny the things the"curse" brought out. I remember the year the Cubs were deep in the hunt and I said to another Sox fan that I hoped the World Series wouldn't be the Cubs vs the Yankees, because I'd have to cheer for the Yankees. He was aghast and asked how i could possibly cheer for the Yankees.
My reply was "you want the Cubs to win a World Series before the Red Sox? I don't." Fortunately 2004 & 2007 have now made it possible for me to cheer for the Cubs if they ever play the Yankees in the WS. Now, the Billy Goat curse, there's a curse.
