Agreed.

I'm a Phillies fan, so I really don't care. Part of me wants to see the Sox win it - because I think they deserve it this year, BUT, another part of me hates to see a curse die.

Already up 2-0; I'd be really surprised if they lost the whole thing.

i cant wait for pedro to pitch tomorrow night. going with a little extra rest, i can really see him pitch a gem, especially because the cards lineup hasnt come close to putting it all together yet.

pedro always pitches better in warm weather, so him going game 3 instead of 1 or 2 isnt as bad as i originally felt...with a rested bullpen, its even better. Hopefully Francona wont feel obligated to leave him out there too long.

All that being said, the cards are a totally different team at home. And their lineup wont stay quiet for long. Going up 2-0 was absolutely huge for us, considering the cards havent lost at home yet in the playoffs

For all I know, you've been a Boston fan your whole life. So, don't take this as an attack on you... but there are WAY too many people who claim to be "Red Sox fans." A lawyer in court today was wearing a Red Sox tie. Ugh.

pedro was absolutely dominant tonight. he definitely got a little help early on from the cards baserunning, but he was on.

how surprising is it that manny and ortiz were the ones to make the big throws during the game? always nice to see those guys do something with the glove, because they have always done it with the bat.
