OK. Like me. I live in RI (have for the past 5 years) and for 33 years before that in MA. Same thing there. Always Democrats. But in some ways that gives us a unique opportunity to help in some way frame the political debate. The way I look at it, the only way my vote in a Presidential election makes any sense is if it helps send a message to either or both political parties. If you want to be free to BOTH play online poker AND keep all of your winnings, vote Libertarian. It won't change where your or my State's electoral votes go, but maybe it'll filter down to the level where the losing party says "why can't we win here?" Just remember, if there was never a Norman Thomas (Depression era Socialist Party candidate), FDR would never have conceived of The New Deal. 3rd party votes are not wasted.
