Look at the stacks.

I'm not saying this wasn't a bad beat or that you played it badly... just saying I don't see how you can expect him to fold getting 9:1, as played.

In Brian's defense, the guy was a 10:1 dog getting 9:1 on his call (and possibly drawing dead) so it's still mathematically incorrect
