When I said "Chad is pretty good" I meant for entertainment value when watching TV poker. I'm not expecting solid analysis when I listen to Chad discuss a hand earnestly. To be fair he has improved his knowledge of the game leaps and bounds from his earlier days. To be real he's an amature in every sense of the form.

Yet I think Chad is EXACTLY what you want in poker commentary. Yes, the shtick is getting old - but to be truthful, 9 years is a long time to keep fresh. You want amateurish commentary to make people think its an easy game.
His job is NOT to be a poker expert. His job is to attract the average person to watch ESPN's coverage. And he does have a WSOP cash - 32nd in the $1,500 Stud/8 in 2009.
