after today i am quitting as well....dont know for how long but i lost 1/2 my roll today. i know, im a tilter, but i lost a huge pot with KK vs 77 all-in pre-flop he rivered a seven.... lost when i flopped the nut straight and he rivered his boat (he moved in with 2pr i insta called)... 1/2 my fucking roll!!
 i probably lost about 1/10th of it by being mad and stupid...and the rest from the poker gods striking me down... |

That sucks, man.... but if you lost 1/2 of your roll on a single hand, I think it's safe to say you were sitting down with more than 5% of your roll.... Now you know why people recommend not doing that.

Yes, it is. Cashed out $248. Couldn't take the bonus free and clear because of a few river beats. It happens. At least I don't have to put up with that for a while.  Thanks again for your encouragement.

gl man. I know how much pressure can be involved in studying going to Georgia Tech. Finals weeks there are the worst things I have ever experienced in my life. So if I multiply that pain by say 17, I get a feel for the suffering. At least I know what studying ten hours a day is like, but I have never done it for over a month straight. Just remember what happens at the end dude, always helps for me. One month is small amount of time to sacrifice for bar.
I too cashed out everything I got, lost about 2/3 of my roll. yes I was sitting down with more than 5%. got annihilated by 3 sets in like 1 hour. So i cashed out my remaing 210 something and will use it for my girfriends 21st party. Hopefully I will still have reason to hang out here |
