Wow, Jon is back playing poker! Awesome!

For those of you who dont know him...well...

You remember Dave Williams right? You heard he used to play professional Magic: The Gathering, and was DAMN good at it, right?

Well, Jon Finkel was (when he put in the time) by far the BEST magic player there ever was, incredible amount of talent, reading his opponents, setting them up perfectly...he was AWESOME. He kind of vanished, rumor had it he was playing poker and doing quite well.

Expect to see great things from Jon.

It is the same one.

And yes, the Tinker deck he won the 2000 World Championship with was out of this world, especially played by him.

I do think Mike Long is a better control player, His bloom deck was out of this world but he lost to white weenie . He couldnt get the right color land out in time to drain life when he needed to. Of course the White Weenie deck hated when Mike dropped down Gloom but oh well.

anyway back to poker!

I don't remember Dave Williams saying he played Magic the Gathering. I know John Murphy said he used to play Magic before he started poker. Not that it's a big deal or anything, I've never played Magic.

No, it was David Williams. And obviously John Murphy was at least 21....
