![]() used to play magic the gathering online with him, he actully recognized my name since I used stormswa on there also. He was on full tilt and in red and I was like who is this guy? he was like you used to play MTGO and was like long time ago and we started chatting. Really nice guy, very down to earth. |

Gamble is a VERY good poker player. The WSOP coverage on ESPN showed him making a few shitty plays, but this kid is really good. He's a regular on RGP.

Finally someone agrees with me... ESPN did him no justice, he is a very good poker player.

I didn't think they plays they showed made him look particularly bad, it was Norman Chad's annoying little commments. Gamble wasn't overplaying Ace Rage all day, but they made it look like that. And those "internet" comments Chad kept making really got annoying after a while.
Eventually, these guys are going to realize that there are some "internet players" who are damn good B&M players too. |

Personally I just prefer to watch the WSOP muted, I hate those announcers. In fact I have problems with announcers across all of sports (not saying that poker is a sport). They say the obvious a lot and that pisses me off. But those poker guys are just idiots. Those divorce jokes? Gimme a break.

...I've said it before and I'll say it again, Norman Chad shouldn't be listened to for in depth analysis. He's colorful. It's entertaining.
If ESPN isn't going to have someone to dissect the play as we watch it (ie: Harrington or Furgeson analyzing the play) then I prefer someone like N. Chad. Besides ... I'm in a committed relationship, and his marital humor cracks me up.

N. Chad is funny and I do find humor in some of the things he saids but your not going to listen to him when it comes to poker advice, etc.
Chad also is just going to call GambleAB a 'regular internet' player because he doesnt know any better, its not like he plays online himself and knows how good he really is. |
