The above piece is coming out in an upcoming issue of FULL TILT MAGAZINE. PLAYBOY MAGAZINE (July '05, p. 16) cites the article as a reference regarding weights of poker chips.

I have posted this piece on many forums. It's funny to see the feedback I have received. Those who were about to buy chips found it really helpful. Those who were/are interested in doing fancy tricks with poker chips thanked me for the information. Others were impressed with the number of poker rooms I've played in. Some commented that the article was a "real education" on poker chips. Many said they were never aware of, nor thought of the weight of poker chips, and enjoyed reading about it.
Others call me a moron, some ask me, "Don't you have anything better to do with your life?", and someone named "Oscar the Grouch" posts "ban" in response to my post.

When I first opened this thread, I thought it looked like spam and was prepared to move it to the SPAM section. In fact, if memory serves, all of your posts here have been pre-written "articles" that you have clearly posted in a number of forums, trying to hype your poker site. You've contributed nothing else to this site - no replies in other threads, etc.

So, the question becomes, is there anything wrong with that? I think the answer is no. I read your "article," and I found it interesting. It's poker related. So I'm not going to move it, and I'm not going to ban anyone.

IMO though, you'd get a lot more respect around here if you contributed all around, and not just starting a new thread every few weeks with a link to your web site. But to each their own.

Thanks for the info.
