I'm new to fantasy football, a few questions. It looks like you still get points for players that are on the bench. Is that true? If so, what is the point of changing a player from the bench to starter? Do you get more value for the starter stats than the bench stats?

Speaking of that I signed a new defense and released the defense the computer drafted for me, thought it would automatically start the new defense since it was the only one on the roster... wrong. Still won though.
