How then?
I know exactly what you are saying.. it all seems DOUBLE, so huge, new, etc.. but how are you ever going to get used to the "new" level if you do not play and get used to it. I felt intimidated, and had to get used to things when I first went from .25/.50 to .50/1. However, I stuck in there, got used to it, and advanced my game.
Obviously if you can not handle the level because the play is better, etc, you would not hand in there just to try and get used to it. You should give it a try though.

You may have missed my other point. I believe (right or wrong) that the lower limit games (as low as 5/10, in fact) are SO MUCH softer, that my increased BB/100 at those limits will more than compensate for smaller BBs.
Still just a theory though, but certainly there will be less variance at the lower limits (in $, not in BB). |
