Depending on what line you can get with the -1.5, it better be around +220 or so, which makes it a very attractive wager. -128 is safer obviously, but I just think this is a horrible spot of the Panthers to try and get a win.

+225 is great. I would take this bet at that price because if we win by two goals once every two tries we still make 12.5% profit and I think in this exact spot we win by two at least once for every two tries, in poker terms +EV

1-0 NYR after 1 period... rangers dominating the action so far.
Rangers had 17 SOG in the 1st period and it didnt look like they were going to score then the brick wall Luongo finally gives up a goal. Rangers start the 2nd period on power play... go rangers! |

Penguin man this is really cool- I had No Clue there was so much strategy and actual long term profit and EV and all that in sports betting- (much like many people have no idea theres so much skill and strategy involved in poker) - It really is cool to learn all this stuff - keep it coming.

4-0 RANGERS BABY!!! Jagr goes off for 2 goals in the 2nd period along with another PP goal.
Luongo is wore down after about 40 SOG in the game. FLA also went 10 minutes without a SOG so this thing is all but over... unless the rangers have a complete meltdown. |
