How about...
"Honey I am going to splurge and buy a nice used computer for a few hundred dollars, instead of playing poker at the office and giving you the impression I am having an affair...."? Seriously, $300 Should buy you an acceptable computer strictly for poker.... If you can't afford that, should you really be gambling?
