When I signed up, I was told I would get x% (it's 20-25, depending on the amount of play) of my players rake FOR THE LIFE OF THOSE PLAYERS. Maybe they had this 60 day crap buried deep in their terms and conditions, but I doubt it, because they have added all sort of other stuff over the years, so I suspect they added this too. Even if it was buried in there, I think it's shitty. They are still keeping AT LEAST 75% of the revenue generated for the players I have sent them, but that's not enough. No... Instead, their stock dips a bit and their short term knee jerk reaction as to how to increase revenue is to screw the small-time affiliates like me. I sent them quite a few of new players in the past - most of whom have moved on, but there are still some who play there. And now they want to screw me because I'm not sending fresh blood. Well, as has been stated, it's not exactly easy to get new Party Poker players when:
1. Everyone already has a Party account.
2. I'm not allowed to offer any type of rakeback or special bonus to people who sign up (affiliates who say they can are either lying or are risking losing their relationship with Party as soon as they find out).

I understand your points about the pseudo-affiliates who signed up 5 big players but aren't actively promoting Party any more. But they should AT LEAST look at this on a case by case basis. I mean, I have Party listed as #1 on my list of recommended poker sites on the main page of this site:

If that's not trying to promote them, I don't know what is. And I think they are very short signted to not see that. This site is growing and there is potential for me to send them a lot of business down the road. If they shut me down and stop paying me for the players that I have referred, not only will I never play there again, but I will remove their links from this site for good. And that somehow is a good thing for them? I don't think so.

As for the bonanza crap, it's just some silly promo they run most months that I never qualify for anyway. Specifically, it's stuff like this (this was from September - I must have deleted the more recent emails):

Hey, look... they are rewarding their big affiliates (who would be sending that many signups ANYWAY). Big surprise there.
