i dont really know when the boom itself will end, but i would assume that we havent come particularly close to that point yet. we all marvel at the number of people on sites like party everyday (60k, or something like it), but that is just miniscule compared to the number of potential players out there.

if there are 7 billion people in the world, i would guess that after adjusting for the number of people who do not have internet access and a number of other things (age, interest, sleeping habits, etc.), you have a potential player pool of at least 70 million players. if there are 70 million potential players in the world, then i would say that we really have only seent eh tip of the iceberg.
