| no problem say there is 20 people in torney week 1 torney 1 last place 1st person out gets 1 point next person out gets 2 points next person out gets 3 points etc etc etc until you get to top 3 and they get the point in the scale plus the bonus points for each place. so third would get 18 points for scale plus 1 bonus point = 19 second would get 19 points for scale plus 3 bonus point = 22 1st gets 20 points for scale plus 5 bonus points to get total of = 25 its alot easier then it sounds. ok so the point system souds very good. But what is the point of a point system that you would win all of the entry fee's in the end if its only 5 dllars per person, when every tourney minumum is going to be just over 5 dollars. Does it make snese to you to play very verygood win through points and in the end only getlike 40 dollars through the points. I would say that is pretty low. Thats where i suggested a 15 - 20 buy in tha way the point system in the end actually matters and you get paid for it. I would say if its a 5 dollar for the league then just forget the pont system all together because it doesnt payout much at all. you tell me |

| interesting I understand your point by making it $5 was hopeing to get more people involved in it. usually it get divided 60%30%10% for 1st 2nd and 3rd at end of leaugue, I was hopeing by having low buy in you can attract about 25 people to this $125 prize pool and any money you make along the way. This was brought up more of a way for everyone to have fun playing together rather then a way to make money. |

well i understand what youre saying. so its either more people less money or less people more money. Or maybe make a compomise andmeet in the middle and make it 10 dollars. And have buy ins between 5 and 10 dollars. Make it so top 6 in the league are eligible for something special at the end. maybe call t final event |

that sounds dooable to me, just gotta make sure you use like top 6 or 7 scores throught the league so its fair to everyone. I can garantee you not everyone is gonna make all the torneis. Also gotta try to set them at different times am/pm...

Exactly! This isnt something that we can start within the next couple of days. I say its something that we need to plan for a while. Take our time with it that way we can get it run right. And actually get everyones input and just make it imply a majority rulesthat is the most civil way we can do this. So i think we need to talk all of this over. Maybe even attempt a minumum of 25 people i dont know if that can be done but it sounds right Because remember like you said we wil not e able to get evryone and not verone is going to want to play omaha and stud if we do have it. So we need to plan this for a while, and figure out an actual schedule. |

I think it sounds like $10 would be a good idea, IMO. That would give a pretty big pool and hopefully will let enough people participate. Question 1: Would anyone NOT participate due to the league entry fee if it was $10 (either because that is too high or because it HAS to be $20 in their opinion)? I agree with Brian that a 25 player pool would be a "good" size BUT, if we are having 2-3 events each week, not everyone is going to show up for all of them, then I think we need to have 30+ overall to get the turnout (at least 10) for each event.I would rather see this be 18-20 minimum per event but I doubt that is going to happen (based on past results). Question 2: Would it be possible to have some events at a different site? For example Stars is $10+$1 and u for buyins. If we were able to also set up some other games at Full Tilt (variety of games and $5+.50 buyin) would that make sense (or would anyone have a problem with it)? Both Stars and Full Tilt are said to have good tourney structures, right?

| hmmm having it on multiple sites might cause problems for some. Might mean that some might have to move money around and they may not want to but I think we could put it up for a vote. I agree the $10 is a good amount. Maybe try to keep the 1st one just on stars then if its a sucess maybe next one run at multiple sites. |
