I also think for the first go at this we should spread it out so that there are more events at each time.

For example, if it will require that we have 6 weeks to get 18 games in (3 per week) and 12 are supposed to count, I think it might be better to make it 8-10 weeks (24-30 games) to give people more opportunities to find events.

This would cause the overall scores (best 12) to go up, but it would also let people jump in late and still get 12 games in. Maybe lock the registration after two weeks and then have 6 more weeks after that. This would also add a level of game selection in.

In the next series we can narrow it down depending on how things go this time.
