I also think for the first go at this we should spread it out so that there are more events at each time.
For example, if it will require that we have 6 weeks to get 18 games in (3 per week) and 12 are supposed to count, I think it might be better to make it 8-10 weeks (24-30 games) to give people more opportunities to find events. This would cause the overall scores (best 12) to go up, but it would also let people jump in late and still get 12 games in. Maybe lock the registration after two weeks and then have 6 more weeks after that. This would also add a level of game selection in. In the next series we can narrow it down depending on how things go this time.

BB can you make do a rough draft of a chart spanning 2 and 1/2 months with alternating the days during the week and the weekend game?
that way we can see how many people can make how many games and change the days to most accomidate the most people. Make all the weekday games PM though since I think that is best time. Weekend day you can alternate AM/PM. If its 10 weeks that means 30 games and lets say top 20 counts think 20 is a reasonable number. |
