Yeah, I don't mind the preflop call b/c of the pot odds, but I don't like the check on the turn... I'd believe I was ahead at that point and would want to protect against (and have them pay me off) anyone chasing a diamond flush.
Speaking of quads... was playing the $100 NL tables at bet365 last night and got dealt pocket 10s, I make a 4xBB raise and get one caller in the BB. Flop comes TTK. The BB leads out with a $3 bet, I type in the chat, "got a ten, eh?" He says, "no" (at least he was an honest guy), I type, "sure." I call. Turn card's a blank. He bets $4, I call. River card's a blank. He checks, I bet $10, he thinks a while, then calls. He later said he had AK and when I asked about the ten he thought I didn't have one. I'm such a tricky bastard.

Thanks for the input Reel. I didn't even consider the 2 diamonds or that the other guy could be chasing a flush. I will consider that for the next time. I definitely don't want to get sucked into a pot with trips when the other guy rivers a flush.
And nice hand on your part. It must be fun know that you flopped the nuts, makes it easier to play the hand.
