why are you shocked you got one in omaha before holdem? in Omaha you get more cards and more card combos so its more likely you will get one in omaha first.

B/C I mostly only play Holdem. I might play 1/2 hour a week in Omaha. Prolly like 65+ Holdem

Oh I see I thought it was because you thought it was more likely in holdem to get a royal compared to omaha, thats cool then.

The chances in Omaha aren't as high as you might think. First, you still may only get 2 of the suited cards needed, so getting a third makes it impossible. 2nd, other players also have 4 cards so the chances are greater that they have one of the necessary cards. Nice hand though. I've had a few A-5 flushes, arguably the absolute best hand in that game, but if you catch the royal with the A in your hand that is even better.
