A sports forum I post at and read daily has private tournaments ALMOST every day at Stars and they are alot of fun. Fair warning, things that happen in the games almost always carry over to the forum discussion board, for better or worse.

Weekdays in general, any time, are NOT good for me
 . I simply have too much on the go and aside from skipping a night of sleep, I likely would not be able to hand you all your asses.  On the bright side, you guys would actually be able to play for first instead of seeing who would lose heads up to Geoff M  .

Don't worry about it for now. We're still at the "kick it around" preliminary stage. You will have ample time to get your money straightened out.

Since many or maybe even all of us are party poker players, it'd be nice to have a low limit private table there. Well I just tried and created one. So if your on come to avesterl's .5/1 table at party.(password: talkingpoker) I think this would serve as a good alternative to a chatroom (low limits, so it doesn't have to be that serious).
