Sometimes you get too much into wanting to get that maniac to stop raising you pre-flop, and you play A3o, and you get beat bad when AAx flops and he has the A with the 6 kicker. There is a reason that you only play KJ later. It is because KQ is out there!

Playing someone heads up with less than stellar cards in a low limit cash game is ALWAYS a bad idea, you will win the minimum or lose the max, -ev situation.

From a pot odds perspective, you'd be getting 3.5 - 1 on your call.
There aren't many hands that are worse than the 78:22 split the pot is laying you. |
