actually sometimes i do this, i dont know whether or not it helps, but i know for a fact its made some of my friends call me a few times.

There are times when I think timing is important... but we're talking like 1-2% of the decisions I make, if that. I alluded to this in earlier today, actually. I think waiting 5 seconds every time you fold is ridiculous and if you were doing that at my table, I would move to a different table immediately. Well, after telling you off, I suppose.

Why would you want to intentionally lower the number of hands you play per hour? All that accomplishes is lowering your hourly rate.

By playing slower I think you can lossen up your opponants.
Maybe a bit silly I guess.
My main point is does anyone use pace in their poker play.

So as not to annoy the others is a good reason.

On occasion, all-ins or huge bets, it's understandable to 'pace' but other than that, I enjoy the speed or I'll get bored and sometimes even angry.

I 3-table and it's limit. A lot of the time, I know what I'm going to do ahead of time so I just click the check box and move to the next decision.

If I was playing one table, I'd still make my decisions as fast as possible. More hands = more $$$=
