A friend of mine has a problem. Doesn't know which bonus offer he should choose from to deposit his money in. It's between the Stars offer and the PartyPoker offer. I need your opinions on the bonus you think is best for him to choose from?
This is his PartyPoker bonus offer: One Deposit. Three Bonuses. It's really simple. * To claim your first bonus, all you need to do is use bonus code ********* when you make your first deposit between March 10 - March 16, and we'll give you a 15% up to 75 USD bonus. Play 10 times the bonus amount in terms of raked hands within seven days of making the deposit and the bonus is yours. * However, if you're quick and play your raked hands within the first three days of making your deposit, not only will you claim your first bonus but you will also be eligible for a second matching bonus (no additional deposit required). To claim the second bonus, just play another 15 times the bonus amount in terms of raked hands on the next three days. This will also make you eligible for a third matching bonus. * To claim your third bonus, play another 20 times the bonus amount in terms of raked hands within another three days. |

Considering that he can only deposit for one of the bonuses, likely meaning that he has a small bankroll, the Party bonus is probably the choice. If your friend only plays SNGs or tournaments though, Stars is the way to go.

He has a $200 bankroll. I've suggested he put $100 in each account. He want's to get more for his money and wants to put it all in one account. What do you suggest?
As for the tournaments vs ring games, he enjoys playing both. But like you said, it would probably be easier to clear the bonus from Stars than it would at Party. |

Why did you * out the bonus code?
And why does your friend have you posting here asking questions for him? Why not just ask himself? If he plays a lot of cash games (a lot of hands), Party. If he prefers tourneys or it will take him a long time to clear the bonus, he should go with Stars. |

Okay. You and Boobie McGee
![]() Why? And please don't say because of the blind structures/higher starting stack amounts.

Because you can't clear bonii playing tourneys on Party (raked hands only), but you can on Stars.

That's how he emailed it to me. I just copy/pasted it onto here.
While playing poker today, I happened to mention what I had read on this forum about the bonus offers. Is there a problem in my asking questions for friends of mine? As for why he didn't ask himself, he can't. He's not or does not wish to become a member here. |

Then I do not wish to give him advice any more.
