I am not the person you want responding, as this is way out of my league....But what about the $100+$30 rebuy on Wednesday night at the Mirage? Try to addon and as much as you can (up to the amount you need for the $485) at the start and build up from there? The problem is the quick blind levels, 15 minutes, but if you can addon right away hopefully most other folks won't do this and you will have a huge advantage.

Also, That is SWEET!!!

And, what Reel Deal said.

I don't know about the rebuy. If I want to dedicate the whole 1k to that tourney, maybe. But, to leave myself with only $500 to play in that is pretty weak. I'm not opposed to putting me own money in, so I'm considering it. Wish I wasn't constrained by time, but I have an interview Thursday afternoon and a show to see that night.

Also, what are usually the terms of a backing agreement like this? Return his stake and then split the profits 50/50?

Play in the Wynn tourney and poay in the $500 tourney at the Belaggio. You'll be a bit short with the $1k, but close enough. Maybe he'll pony up the difference if you spell it out for him. Otherwise, just chip in the extra yourself.

And yes, typical terms would be that you pay him back his $1k first and then split what's left 50/50. Whatever you decide, MAKE SURE you are both clear about the arrangement before you leave.

I'm 99% sure I won't be in and settled in enough time to hit that Wednesday $500 tourney. Too bad it wasn't on Friday instead of that 1k tourney. I'm tempted to just play the 1k tourney on Friday at the Bellagio w/ the whole thing.

Right now, I may play the $100 rebuy at the Mirage on Wednesday night. Depending on how I do and how the cash games treat me, I'll play in the Wynn tourney on Friday afternoon.

This is going to be fucking awesome. I'll keep notes and hopefully I'll be able to give some reports via the hotel computer.

I agree with TP that you should play the other $500 at the Bellagio and pony up the extra dough if needed.

Also good luck with that 1K, if you do well in Vegas you might get some bigger stakes in the future.

Maybe you can get staked for a few WSOP events like TP did last year.
