I say we have a freeroll. Any "established" member of the forum gets the password. Other "new" members should be given a couple of weeks to make at least 50 quality posts in order to "earn" the password.
Damn, I like this idea. Who's with the Shabi Shabe?

I don't much like freerolls. A waste of time.

I just have to ask, how exactly are freerolls a waste of time? Like, if I put up $1000 and picked 10 people from this forum to play for it - FOR FREE (no buy in required... no matter how badly you do you CAN NOT LOSE) - you'd pass because it's a waste of time?

TP, I know I am kinda advertising another site with this.....
BUT Daniel Negreanus Full Contact Poker.com has a "ticket" system. Where your only allowed to enter a RESTRICTED torunament with a ticket. The ticket is given to players through FCP adminstration and the tournament director. They place the ticket in the desired peoples usernames, and only these people play. I played in a FREEROLL on FCP, there were NO.... yep thats right! NO crashers.... Maybe look into that..... |

Can't do it.... I don't own a poker site that I can code a "ticket" system into... That's a great way to do it though, for those who can.

I dont think you quite understand what I was trying to say.... How it works is that you give FCP adminstration a list of the people you want in your restricted freeroll. They then put tickets into their account and they are allowed to enter with their ticket! No one else can enter without a ticket..... |

How about a TPF tourney invasion?
Here's the deal: we settle on an open tournament (say the $20 SnG at Stars for example), and TP gives a bonus to the top finish from our group?

Didn't you just mention in a post that all went haywire the last time you had a freeroll and "dozens and dozens of trolls" came from everywhere to ruin your freeroll? See. That's what freerolls do, give you headaches for no reason. |

I really wanted to move past this post. And continue with the rest of the thread, but i cant. 1 - you little minx 2 - TP finds shabi cute........ now theres an idea for a free TP hat, picture editing and maybe a spot of blackmail. and at the I did have a mouthfull of pepsi, and i now do have a wet hand from catching it as it fell from my mouth. |

At least I get that this was a joke.
To those clearly not in the know, we did this before and it was the single worst idea I have EVER had. This place turned into a complete mess. It was actually painful (literally) to read the forum for the few days before the tourney as legions of trolls started making dozens and dozens of complete garbage posts. Chance of us having a freeroll (at least as described above, with the post requirements) = 0%. |
