Yes - I can't spell worth a sh*t.
Would anyone like to explain what "an albatross around one's neck" means to our misguided friend who lives in....well...lets be honest.......a stupid little island that still worships royalty and abuses tea. Anyone? If not - here's a clue EJ: Samuel Taylor Coleridge, phuck EJ - this guy is even from your Island....WTF - do they not have schools where you live?

Folklore/proverbial expressions)
"Albatross" comes from a Spanish word for "pelican", and it was regarded as bad luck to kill one of these birds. Samuel Coleridge used the metaphor of an albatross in his poem "The Ancient Mariner". (see also "millstone around one's neck" and "anchor around one's neck") im a weight around your neck. sweet |
