Oooh. That would be a good idea. TP, do you have any chat scripts that you can enable? (not necessarily INSIDE vB, but within the talkingpoker.com domain)
That would save people that didn't have AIM having to get it. |

I don't like the idea of having a chat forum on TP.... I've explained why before. It would be good for THIS, yes, but not for a long term thing.
No scripts handy, but I'm sure I could search the vbulletin.org site (or someone else could - hint, hint) and find something that would work. |

No, I agree, not necessarily a long-term thing. But a password protected chat for drafts and the like.
I took a quick look for vB chat scripts and saw a couple but didn't get a chance to dive into them. What about installing an external chat module (PHP based or something like that) that would be accessed by a URL such as or something like that? |

Good idea. I'll look into it.

use teamspeak. you can create your own room and whatever. everyone downloads it, we log in to a special TP room, we do the draft, we log out and delete.

doesn't teamspeak require that everyone have a microphone/headset? If we were going to do something like that - requiring everyone to use custom software, wouldn't it just be easier to use AIM - no extra hardware required. Although talking live would be cool...I think what we should gun for here is a universal outlet for people to do the draft through.
