August Thread: Goals, Winrates, Updates.

UPDATE: Day 1 = super gay. Won a donkament (215 W$ wowowow). Lost almost 1k in cash games. Poker sucks.

My goal is to make $500 this month. So we will round up and that means that my bankroll needs to reach $3200. I am playing $100NL.

I have started playing very very rarely now, mainly just tourneys, dont want to play cash games at all. Next year during the world series I want to join one of the side events, maybe 1k or so buy in. I really want to say I tried it at least once. Plus I will have 3 weeks of vacation and my wife wants to spend a week in Vegas and told me If I had the money for the event I could play in it.

so my goal for this month is to stay away from cash games and just concentrate on becomeing a stonger tourney player. Going to stick to very low buyins $5 and under. I dont need to win alot I just want the experience.

My goal is to make at least $800 this month, as I am out of work (REALLY bad day and a looming 50 hour week made me snap) and this would pay the bills at minimum. Managed to make enough to cover the last 2 weeks with those Titan FTs, would've been better if I hadn't been stupid and clicked on the shiny Party BJ button at 5am though.

well I said I might come back eventully and when I did had to set limits for myself and so far I have been able to control my limits so im allowing myself to play right now and if I cross the line I stop simple as that.

I want to be mainly tourney player and cash games on the side but very low ones, I have to have like 40 buyins or something like that in order to play the game. ok 40 little off but you get the point. As long as it dosent take up too much of my time im fine with playing but I do understand where you are comming from I did say that.

My goal for Aug is to stay focused in my cash games and not just call any hand just to make sure thier not bluffing!! Thats My biggest problem.Second goal is to make 1k a week thru august and re-think my goals for sept.
