Just go for it
Don't worry about the 300BB or whatever doctrine. If you think you can beat the game and are able to handle the loss if you don't, then take a stab at it. Find a good table at the next limit up, decide how much or your BR you want to risk on this shot, and just go play your "A" game. This is pretty much what Bob Ciaffone recommends on p.50 of
Maybe you can follow a known fish who has been getting lucky when they go to play a bigger game. That gives you the possible advantage of being the only one at the table who knows the fish, at least for a little while.
