So far, I've been impressed with them all. Don't get me wrong, it's not huge, earth shattering stuff, but it's enough that I've been able to literally make a small adjustment or two to my play and my PT numbers now are in the range where I've thought they should be all along.
Maybe you are beyond this and the videos won't be a help to you. I don't know. As for how much he won or lost in the session, I don't think that means anything at all. You should know that what you win or lose over 50 hands is meaningless. What DOES mean something is how in the one Full Tilt video (not his main site, I don't think) that I watched, when he sat down, two other players asked if he was going to play and when he said yes, they both left. Later on, when he was topping off, I froze the screen to sheck his balance: > $65,000. The kid is good, and he's a good teacher. Maybe you can't learn anything from him, but I know I can... MORE than I do from books. Maybe it's just because watching better suits my learning style than reading does - always has. I dunno. As for specific videos, so far I've watched 5 from GP: 1, 2, 3, 25 ,and 26. I don't remember which I liked the best or why, but I can give them a quick review and recommend one to you if you like. |

PS: Are all the cash videos 6 max?

GP 41 (10/20 Pokerstars) was the best video I saw.

I assume not. I downloaded only 6 max ones, since that's all I play, but I assume there are plenty of full ring ones.
BTW - I hate the name of this thread. We've gone from my big rambling post to me making goals to critiquing CardRunners. Damn. As for a recommendation... Ok, I dunno. I'm speed-reviewing them right now, and I can't pick. #25 was the one where the table broke up and he flashed his roll... that one was decent, I think. #26 was the one I watched earlier today that I thought was good - that one is for 2/4 NL. I think you should either pay for a few videos and be done with them, or suck it up and drop $70 on a membership and watch a bunch. If you don't think they are worth it, big deal - $70. If you do, great. Enjoy. |

For you low limiters, I see GP's got a free video. I haven't downloaded it, but you can check it out here:
That's .25/.50 NL. Give it a look. |

I agree not enough content in it to be useful, but its a good basic idea of how the real videos will be. I will be taking chips advice and not getting these yet because I do agree they are a little to advance for me right now and hell im not even up to their low levels yet but from what I have seen from the 2 free videos they seem to be done very well and guys seem to know what they are talking about. |
