Actually, they don't rob you at all. If it were that bad, either nobody would play or a competitor would undercut them. Its a free market, vote with your feet.

None of them are any worse than cheating on a University exam.

University exam lol. Im in the dumbest fresh college classes Ive ever taken that won't really help me out at all in life. Next semester will be different.
Either way it's not an excuse, and it is something I'll have to stop doing. I don't know how I convinced myself it's okay, probably in a similiar way ppl convinced themselves it's okay to steal just because they are getting raked.

Like I said stealing would be something entirely different. Stealing would be hacking into the system and changing your account balance. This is just keeping money that you found in your account.
If you found $100 dollars on the ground, would you turn it in to the police? If you picked it up and kept it would that be STEALING $100 from whoever's it was? Of course not, and it's the same thing here. You found $500 and you are keeping it

The dean in charge of observing and evaluating my teaching at school found a $1000 chip at MGM a couple of weeks ago.

Woooohoooo! That's what I'd say if I found that chip.
Now, if I saw someone drop it or if it was obvious who it belonged to, I'd immediately give it back. But if I just so happened to spot it in the middle of the hallway or something, drinks are on me! |

The dumbest college freshmen classes as opposed to what? The ones you took last year to compare them to?
You do realize that most college freshman classes are supposed to teach you to manage your time and develop good study habits...something vital to surviving the rest of college, right?

Thankfully I was taught this in high school and all the colleges classes did was make me bored out of my mind and never want to go to class. As soon as I started to take classes with my major it all turned around though and going to class and actually leraning something wasn't a drag anymore. This is a little OT but oh well.

Good for you. I actually wrote a pretty scathing response yesterday, but decided not to post it, figuring you'd come to your senses in a day or two. Glad to see I made the right decision.
