pre-amble: We are remodeling our 1920s bungalow. It has been a pretty extensive project (just cracking 6 digits) and we should be finished by the end of the month. Unfortunately, our funds are nearing the end as well. i have been floating all the extra expenses on this project by taking it from my bankroll. It turns out that there was about 10% 'extra' on this project. Just now I ordered a check that brought my bankroll down to 1k.

Beat- my bankroll is at 1k and i have to rebuild.
