Crazy Flush draws hitting suck
Yeah, the one bad beat that happens most to me (if you consider them a bad beat) are runner runner flushes. I hate these more than anything else.
Today, I flopped bottem hidden set with AQ6, two diamonds. There had been 9 people to see the flop, 9!!! and no preflop raises, so I wasn't exactly putting anyone on AA or QQ. Checked around to me, in late position. I bet, and get about 5 callers. 2 of diamonds hits on the turn, and some else bets out, I raise, and get about 3 callers. The river brings the FOURTH DIAMOND, and being without a diamond (the 6 would have been a weak flush anyway, if it hadn't already been on the board) I just call the river bet. Of course someone turns over KQ for the K high flush, rivered.
This is why limit sometimes pisses me off, I could have killed that crazy draw on the flop and kept people holding a pair of aces or two pair around.
