One guy was stalling from the first hand and convinced everyone else at the table to stall as well. We played 3 hands and the next time I was all-in in the big blind. I think the lottery ticket idea has some value.

I've never bothered to do one, but it sounds ridiculous.

Stalling really early is really stupid. The only time it may be advantagous if you can get the whole table to do it while the blinds are super high and have every other table kill each other.
