I was just in Toronto last week - Sherbourne and... hmmm.... yeah, can't seem to remembr the cross street. It's right down town though.
Next time I'm up (no idea when that will be), maybe we can get a game together. |

TP, you were likely at Sherbourne and Bloor. That is the outskirts of downtown, maybe 2 minute subway right to the heart of the city.

Yes, it's illegal to play in Canada, LOL. Just like the States though, who's going to know? Actually, I think you're allowed to play $5 games here, but that is never followed.
Funny story, my buddy goes to a Pool Hall in Scarborough (just east of Toronto), and they usually run after-hours poker games. One night a cop goes and bangs on the door. So while the owner steps outside to speak to him, everyone slowly, 1 by 1, gets up and leaves the table with their cash. Don't know how they didn't get caught.
