Lets see... 50/10000 will advance so my chances are
0.5% and once I make it to Round 2 320/10000 = 3.2% and then after that I have to place 120/5000 = 2.4% So chance of placing in the money is 0.000384% if i only use only my free tournament ticket and if my calculations are correct, which they almost never are. ![]() |

Well, strictly by the numbers of entrants this might be right, but that assumes everyone plays at the same skill level and everyone gets an even percentage of good/bad hands, etc, etc

Down to 'only' 6498 players (yeah it filled at 10000), I'm currently sitting at 3135, which is comfortably above the average but well below top 50.

And down to 1700, 99 doesn't hold up to a Q84 flop, naturally someone called me with QJo

I'm out. Had about 1800 in chips (small stack at my table), pushed preflop with QQ, got called by a KK and some other jabroni. Flop comes out 67Q, so I'm lovin' it. Of course, the turn is a K, and well, we all know how this story ends ...

Well, first break and I'm 544/3063. Of course, it's helped that twice someone has moved all in before me while I held the nuts.
